Any suggestions on what to do to calm Izzy down when we are in the car? He whines everytime we are in the car and it is driving me nuts.
I mean you would think I was torturing him. He stands up and tries to climb out, he shakes and cries non stop. I almost dont want to take him anywhere except to the vet and the groomer.
I used to put him in his carrier and he hated that. So, I bought a car seat for him thinking it would help but no luck. I have the outwardhound seat. He tries to climb over to sit on my lap. Before I try out another car seat, is there anything I can do to calm him. Ive tried treats, chew sticks, tried to rub him talk to him but nothing helps. It's like he is frantic and wants to get out!
