Its lovely. In my opinion if I got something like that it would be just a "show off" piece.
Britain may lay in it for a while but she would never sleep in it. She sleeps in bed with me. But if your baby actually sleeps in her own bed I say GO FOR IT!!! It is her Birthday after all. Why not spoil her if you can.
