I think it is a great pattern to start with & hope you find it helpful.
I've used this pattern twice, with a few modifications. Specifically, I lengthened one of the sides so that it wrapped all the way around Lily and fastened on top. I used velcro closures and bias tape for a nice finished look. I also added an appliqu? for decoration, and stitched everything by hand. It was very easy and I am very happy with the finished product. Definitely looking forward to making more!

wow...you did great!!!!!!! I have a couple of articles of clothing that people got me that I will NEVER wear. I am thinking of using the fabric and making some cool stuff for maggie. example...a silk robe that just isn't my "style". So I will make a pretty dress for maggie out of it. I may use that pattern you just posted....I think a few people have pm'd it to me
