He does seem to have somewhat of a roach back now that I think about his bone structure. Not sure if this would have anything to do with it tho. His hair also doesn't seem to grow very fast. It isn't very soft actually kind of hard. Maybe I am not using the right term..
His body is hard like. He has a round little body that is rather hard to the touch. THis might be a better way of describing it. It could just be bone structure like you said.
