Gracie hates to have her muzzle and beard groomed. Her little head bops all over the place. I have found that if I put my left thumb under her chin and the rest of my left hand behind her head, I can tip her chin up and get access to both sides of her beard, brushing with my right hand. I have also tried grabbing the left side of her beard and holding her while I brush the right, and vice-versa. The problem with that method is she bops around so much that one side ends up being messed up as soon as I have brushed it! I think the chin tilt method works best. I try to wash her little face every evening but sometimes I forget.
