 How much to feed mommy?
Zowie weighed in at the vet 8.3 on Wednesday. She had diarrhea for 4 days (like choc. milk). She is fine now, solid since yesterday morn. I fed her 2 cans of Hill's prescription diet from the vet today (one yesterday). The five puppies are about 7 pounds together. They will be 4 weeks old on Sunday.
Before she got sick, I was feeding her two 5.5 oz cans of Nutro puppy, 4 tbl cottage cheese, 3 tbl goat milk. Now I am thinking she should be eating more? I keep down dry food Nutro Ultra puppy all the time.
She has 1 can (15 oz) of Hills for tomorrow morning (I feed her 1/2 at a time-she eats like she is starving). She eats very little of the dry. I just wonder if I am feeding her ok, too much, too little? Any help is appreciated. |
