Oh it works just fine at my house. I am the proud owner of a 100lb. Belgian Malinois and a 70lb. German Shep. Both inside dogs. I have never had any mishaps, NEVER. My Yorkie came at Christmas time and after the rest of my zoo gave her the cold shoulder for a week or two, they are all now life long buddies. My Yorkie will sometimes use the Malinois as a step to help her hop on the bed. If the Malinois is laying by the bed, she jumps on him and uses him for a step. Works perfect in my house.
