also, contact several vets/vet hospitals. Some will work out a payment plan for you.

Another option would be to contact yorkie rescues. You would have to surrender your little guy, but they would raise the funds for the surgery, find him a new home and he could lead a healthy life. It would break your heart, but be better than not helping him or putting him down. I don't know if any would take him, but it'd be worth a try.
