my cousin has a maltese, and she bought a doggy leave in conditioner. and after a bath she put it on, and then they would just hang out (and be sure to watch her soo she doesnt lick her coat!) And then when she rinsed it out, she had a silky pretty coat. im pretty sure you can find a recipe for a great natural doggy leave in around the internet
