I understand... It takes just a second for a dog to 'turn around' like that. I had a scare myself yesterday as well, I was walking Pepper and saw that big dog in front of us, the lady was holding the leash close and was trying to restrain it but he broke loose and lounged at my baby
I somehow flipped the leash upwards and up Pepper went landing in my arms. And the dog was still trying to bite!! I'd rather he bit me than Pep, I'd survive it - you know what I mean? I was soooooo shaken Oh my God. I know totally how scary that is
I'm glad your doggie is ok, I'm sure she'll be scared of that dog from now on....
