Well, I think because the dog is so big (she's really a gentle giant) there was plenty of room in her mouth for the bunny, and she was obviously mouthing it gently.
Of course, last year Ginger and Fun Kitty got ahold of a nest, and that DID NOT turn out well. I actually had trouble getting over that and forgiving Ginger (somehow I expected that from the cat).
Wish these bunnies would STOP making nests in a fenced yard full of loose "hunters"!
