I have a question -- do you know if silky coat or soft coat are dominant? If a silky and soft coat mate -- chances of silky coat pups?

I've yet to get a handle on this as I have not breed anything but silk to silk (and so far have produced nothing but silk) and I need to do some more studying....I've witnessed 2 silks produce a soft coat (but, more often than not this breeding will produce silk) and I've witnessed one soft and one silk, produce an all silk litter. I've been told that breeding a silk dog with a soft coated bitch will produce silks ( as the male is dominant usually done to bring in color being blue is a diluting gene).
