WOW! That was a close call - storms are sooo scarey!!! I'm from Oklahoma and I have been through many terrible storms. My dad was the volunteer fire chief our little town (300 people) and he had to go sit in his car outside of town on a hill when storms were in the area in order to race back to town and blow the siren if he saw a tornado or real bad weather. Needless to say, I spent many a night hunkered down in our storm cellar.
I'm so glad to hear that your daughter was OK - what an awful drive you must have had. I'm glad that you are OK too!!!
