Yes, I think so.
I switched my pup's bowls and it sure made a difference. Plastic & ceramic bowls can harbor bacteria... The stainless is cleaner and better & safer to use, even though some have used them for years on their pets and never had a problem. I think it has to do with your dogs senstivity.
