Molly was the runt of the litter. We fell in love with her personality. She was the prancer of the bunch and had this little sprite of a personality. She was itty-bitty but we adored her. Her brother was a porky little brute and the others were average sized. Molly just stole our hearts.
My grandfather always laughed at me because I always went for the runts of any litter, whether kittens, puppies, lambs....you name it. I always cheered for the "underdog". They usually turned out to be the biggest of them all, too! LOL
Molly will be 2 in August and she is amost 4 pounds and healthy as can be. She was definitely not bred to be small, so we had no issues in the beginning when she was tiny, tiny except making sure she ate often (even at night); and NO issues since.
Runts happen, believe me!! (Actually, I think I'm the runt of my family now that you mention it!!! LOL)

That would explain everything, now wouldn't it????
