Dump the kids. Keep the Yorkie.

Seriously, regardless of the current injury, please try to work with the kids to establish rules around the pup. Yorkies aren't built to take a pounding from kids. Many rescue operations will not give Yorkies to families with kids. That's not to say it can't be done succesfully, but the kids have to know to be careful around the dog. And if the kids are too young, the dog should not be left alone with them.
