Sometimes ligament problems don't show up in X-rays right away. It could be anything from a simple strain to a luxating patella. The anti-inflammatories should make the limping go away, but it is quite likely to return if there is a more serious problem. If the limping returns, you will need more vet care and possibly surgery. In the meantime, you could discuss the problem with your breeder. Was there a health guarantee?
