I am sending you this link to the most wonderful site that has continued to help me since my beloved Sophie was pts on 1/23/07. Between thinking my heart would break, to knowing that I kept her alive longer than I should, guilt over seemingly every detail of her illness, and now acceptance as I look at her beautiful face in her photograph that she isn't sick or suffering.
Continue to share your feelings because if you internalize them, the pain becomes too intense. Not everyone understands the feelings you are experiencing, but they are yours and very real.
