The really horrifying reality is that this is just the stuff we hear about. Domestic pets are an easy target for sadistic #$&*!#$@#'s like that. There are lots of sickos out there that have animals for the sole purpose of torturing them.
If we had any idea of how much really goes on out there in the world, we probably could not sleep at night.
