You need to keep them separated for several weeks as females are in heat for about 21 days. I am no expert but am sure the more experienced breeders and members will post to tell you for sure.

Tifa is 7 months old (about 10 lbs.), and Kiba is 15 months old (about 5 lbs.). Yeah, we definitely don't want a pregnancy as she is way too young. Thanks for the helpful reply!
