Oh my goodness. that sounds horrible. But they are doing wonderful things now days with plastic surgery. I hope everything works out well.
Do you feel up to sharing the whole story?
Over 50 years ago, I cut the end of my ring finger off, my sister and I were playing with an old push lawnmower. The finger was cut off at the first joint and just haning on by the skin. the Dr was going to take it completely off. My mother beggged him not to because it was my RING finger left hand. (Thank you mom) The dr said he would try to save it, but I would probably never be able to bend it at that joint even if it did take.
My finger is perfect. and that was 55 years ago. |
