For the last few weeks we have been weaning Tyke off of a medication so he can start a new arthritis medication. This week he had 1/4 a pill twice and he has been walking stiffly. Starting next week, he gets nothing. We were warned that he might be in pain but he has to be off the medicine a full week before he is put on this new arthritis medicine.
I really hope he doesn't start walking all hunched up and not able to pick his head up and shaking and panting all the time. Before he was put on this medicine, that was what he would do and then he was fine. But now he might have a full week of that and I am so not looking forward to one of my babies being put through that
He has to be put on this arthritis medication though...so it's not like there's a choice. I guess I'll have to be prepared to give him some extra TLC in between class and work next week
