With me and my Quad-Squad it's leash or stroller outtings only! In some outtings, I've even had people and children poke at, tease or even try to release my furkids. And, short of being dragged away in handcuffs, believe me I made sure they knew how I felt! These little ones are easily injured and unknowing persons could easily do terrible harm even though having good intensions. So, I can definately understand how you feel... What burns me more is those folks that respond with "It's just a dog...Geez!"
So, I say speak up if not asked to touch, play with or pick up your furbaby!!!
Better to be safe than sorry...
