I don't think my pup at three months could hold her pee pee/poopy and didn't sleep with me for months. She was kept in the kitchen, gated with her crate open during the night. Same during the day until she figured out how to use her paper. The paper gradually turned into letting me know she wanted to go outside. I was the one who was trained first and then she caught on.

Your baby is very young and probably confused about exactly what to do. My advice would be to be very patient, clean up her pee & poopy, and it won't be long until she can hold it longer and recognizes the paper or pad as her potty station.

Good luck
