A breeder should cover, treatment on mites, coccidia, gaurdia, parasites, if found by the vet on initial visit, of 48 or 72 hours. Which shouldn't be the case if a pup has been vet checked prior to leaving the breeders home.

Life threatening genetic defects are usually guaranteed from 1-5 years, dependent on the breeder....As shunt can rear it's ugly head early on or as late as 5 years ...Reputable breeders will most likely refund the money in hopes that it will assit in care and/or surgery of the pup.

When drafting my contract, I put the health and welfare of the pup as my first priority.
