Here's another thought...popular or not...but pawn shops are a great place to shop for diamonds. You aren't limited to what's in the case either...they melt jewelry down for scrap all the time so they usually have some loose stones around.
When you put a diamond on your finger it's already millions of years old so it's not 'new' and you might be surprised to learn that insurance companies and jewelers shop for stones at pawn shops all the time. |
