I think the test is called a LDDST. When my Bichon went sick a year ago, initially they thought cushings, he was tested, but it was not conclusive.and it turned out he has diabetes only. Some of the symtoms are similar, but there is a lot more to it. I was on a forum that has lots of helpful people and all are owners of Cushings dogs. A lot of nice people over there with plenty of experience with their Cushings dogs and how they have managed it through medication.
