Jesus said that many would call themselves after His name. And they do. That's easy. It gets harder when you live your life in obedience to Him and that's what tells it all.
Liars, cheaters, theives, preachers of hatred....all those who follow after the world and what it has to offer are Christian in name only. Not in their hearts which is what He sees. He knows who they are. They can distress us with their actions but it is by those actions that we can know that they are not His. He says "By their fruits you shall know them." And so we can. |
