My Gordon did the same thing for about a week when I first got him. Then I put him on a feeding and potty schedule. His last feeding at night is 6:30 PM.....I take him out to potty afterwards. If he doesn't potty then, I take him out every 30 minutes till he does.
I also walk him before I put him in his kennel at night. It seems to tire him out and he sleeps all night. I get up at 5:30 AM and we hurry and take him out.
He hasn't done anything at night in his kennel since I started this......and he really enjoys his nightly walk.....even if it is only around the yard.
