Uh-oh! I feel sorry for you. We had a chihuahua (she lived to be 17

) and everytime it rained (it didn't even have to thunder) she would jump off the bed (if it was night) and start running back and forth and get under the bed and rub the top of her nose raw on the carpet. I'd try to hold her, but she was so upset that she'd struggle to get down so she could run back and forth again. Like I said, it didn't even have to thunder. She could smell the rain. She would walk up to the door and put her nose to the crack and smell it. It was pitiful.
