Jacky it is important to take care of yourself. That should be #1 on the list.
Can you have the school nurse check it out to make sure you haven't broken
anything? If not you really have to tell Mom. It really should be checked out.
Even spains can be very painfull and pulled ligaments and muscels as well.

I also love cheerleading and think it is important to be connected in school with some sort of sport. I coached for 9years middle school and high school.
My granddaughter was a flyer the last two years of high school. You can
get some pretty bad injuries for sure. Your mom is just worried for you.
I understand your love for the sport but please discuss this with her.
I hope nothing is broken. There are so many tiny bones in our feet that
you wouln't really know if one was broken without an x-ray.
Sprains also at times can be worse then a break.
Hopefully it is just bruised. Good luck.
