It's so hard not to worry and be over protective when they are so little. I recently brought a new little girl home also. I would mix a small amount of mighty dog in with her dry until she adjusts to her new food. They do not each much at one time. I would feed gidget by hand 4 times a day until she got adjusted to her new home. I also would take just a spoonful of wet food and let her eat it off the spoon a few times during the day.I didn't want her to get low blood sugar. It took about a month before I didn't worry about getting enough food in her. Hope this helps.
