I gotta say too...when I had Momiji here, who is just over 2 lbs and 7 months old, that little girl never ate and mom said "don't get worried, she just doesn't eat." Well I decided to cook and see if she would finally eat that...and I KNOW she gained weight be the time mommy picked her up!! Kana even held her up and said "oh! I feel a belly on you!!" LOL
So if I had a tiny one that I thought should gain weight, I would definately keep feeding what you were feeding
