We just had our first litter of puppies and I'm confused! I have 2 puppies that have a very different look! We had 4 pups 2 are black and tan and 2 have a merle or dapple look- has anyone heard of such? Obvious question anwered forst- no other dogs were around female when she was in heat- is there a recessive gene that would cause this? Both parents are AKC registered and have pedigrees- thoughts?
