[QUOTE=HighlandYorkies;1045755]Our vet won't do teeth and neutering together - I am mad about it !

I must keep looking for a genuine vet who really is interested in the animal first, and not just the money to be made.
I am sure they exist !!!

Wow, that is awful. I don't anything about the baby teeth thing. Bijou is due for another check up so I guess I will ask the vet about that. Any time a person or animal for that matter has to go under the knife (so to speak) the doctor should accomplish all they can safely. I have a special needs daughter who has had quite a few surgeries and every time she does I throw in everything I can. Going under sedation is the biggest risk out of the whole surgery. This last surgery she had, I had them give her the flu shot. Thus one less poke she had to feel awake. They don't put IV's in until they under with the gas first. The surgery before I had the pediatric dentist come to the hospital and fix a cavity while she was under as she has sensory issues.

Any vet should be willing to cover as much as they can while the pet is asleep. Just seems like the right thing to do.
