 Common Courtesy?
I fell at work yesterday outside my teaching building and while I cracked open my knees on the concrete they will heal. What really surprised me was that it was in a very busy walkway of campus and not ONE person stopped to ask if I was okay. Plenty of students stopped to point and laugh at me but nobody had the decency or courtesy to just say "are you ok?"
I'm so saddened by this and I guess just need to vent. And if you ever see someone fall a simple "are you ok" would really make a difference. |
