Just a quick update. I just ran home and doctored Bogey up - he is looking really great. His eye was open and everything.
He's going to go "play" at the vet's all day tomorrow. I just absolutely can't take him, so I'm going to drop him off, go to school, go get my car, and pick him up on my way home.
His previous owner thought you do puppy shots and that's it, he's set for life (or something along those lines). So now that he's turning 2, he's way overdue for lots of stuff. They're going to go ahead and do a fecal and a heartworm test tomorrow... then we'll get him started on heartworm medication. They're also going to go ahead and get him current on his shots. And they're going to look at his eye - and doctor it for me since I won't be around. If it requires, they'll do "minor surgery" (go in with a scalpel and scrape it off). However, at his rate of improvement, I doubt they'll have to do that. So all is going well here, and he is soon to be happy, healthy, and current on everything!
