when i got toby i pretty much let him choose me....... out of the two males he was the only one that was VERY friendly with me and not afraid or nervous at all (my house is VERY hectic and i didnt want a nervous nelly).... i dont think to this day he has EVER been nervous, i took him to my moms house the first day i got him too, and over there she has three big dogs.. lots of people moving around........craziness galore....... and he was soooooooo calm and so up for anything , i love my little guy he is really "my kind of dog".... i dont think i enjoy having a dog that was really nervous
