To me that says, they don't just "live in the moment"...he knew I had left him for a couple days, which I NEVER do, and he was holding a grudge that I had done that. It was 2 full days before he was completely back to his old self. Although, he only growled at me the first night. Just wanted to share, and OP, I sorry you had a poopy butt..I think he was mad at you, or why would he poop in "your" seat? |
I stand by my opinion only because of my training experience of both dogs and horses (I have owned Yorkies my entire life as well as other breeds). I don't dispute the knowledge or skills of a Yorkie. Anyway, we could banter back and forth about training and what a dog thinks/doesn't think..etc..My point basically was when the dog went poo on the seat and the owner returned 5 min. later, that dog did not know what he did 5 min. ago and in my opinion would not understand why he was getting tapped on the butt, or his owner was displaying anger.
