Congratulations! I would let the little baby hang out for a while, and get to know what's going on. Let her build up a little trust before you bathe her. I remember that Archie was very nervous when we first got him and he didn't leave the bedroom. We slowly encouraged him to come out a little bit to the living room, etc. by playing with him. I think it was a week or so when we gave him a bath in the tub. But we spent an enormous amount of time with him at first. On the first day, we played for an hour or so and left him in the bedroom to calm down by himself for a little while, then he was happy when we came back in. We took him out for a short 5 minute walk to get him used to the neighborhood, etc. It all depends, though, on whether you want to crate train your dog (which I am against doing), or whether you want to train your dog to go outside or use wee wee pads. Archie goes outside, so it was important to let him get to know the neighborhood and choose his "spots."
