A few weeks ago I wrote about my experience with having a trainer come to my home to train me. Today was my 5th week out of 6. I can't tell you just how happy I am with sawyer ( and me). Sawyer now sits, stands, lies down. stays, goes to his place (a mat), comes when called, and walks on a leash correctly. The best thing is that when someone comes to the door, he will run to the door, bark, and then lay down and stay while I answer it. He no longer jumps on everyone, and will leave a treat right where I drop it if I say so. He is such a good dog, I can take him anywhere and know he will be safely by my side. Anyone thinking of taking this approach, please do! I live in Florida,near Orlando, and I paid 350 dollars for 6 hours ( Dianne always runs over though ) It may seem like a lot, but this is the way that worked for me. I just couldn't seem to do it by myself.
