I live in Texas and was in Amarillo last Saturday. I went to PetSmart and they had some dogs from the Amarillo SPCA in there that needed to be adopted. There was a neutered boy yorkie in one one of the cages. He was grown, but didn't really look too old to me. I'm not too good at judging weight but I bet he was about 15 pounds. He had been run over and wasn't putting any weight on one front leg. He was very friendly and very cute. He stood on his back legs and just begged us to pay attention to him. I can't stop thinking about him. He had so much personality. We have 6 dogs and I have paid a deposit on a yorkie puppy that we will be getting in a few weeks. My hubby said ABSOLUTELY NOT when I hinted about getting him. I've already taken in one stray. I know he wasn't adopted because I e-mailed them and asked.
