He's definitely wrong. Muffin loved to be cuddled, but not a lot when she was a puppy. She was too feisty then.
As the years went by, she was my cuddle-pup. She loved to get body-massages and loved to sit with me and watch the world go by. I can only speak of mine from experience. When she was tired of the lap, she wanted down and to go her own way. Terrier, you know.
