I recognize some of those lines. I have a copy of the book you mention. I also have a person who does my 5 and 7 pedigrees. They are very informative and the 7 gen is poster size. He includes the names of the breeders, colors, but ALSO includes the name of the person who owned the dog at the time it was entered into the stud books. Names are not included in the peds I have gotten from the registry. But, AKC closed their stud books in July of last year (or the year before) so any registrations since then have to come from AKC. I have not found them to be very informative. JMO |
