Have you been taking her temperature? It should be around 100-101. When it drops to around 99-98 you have about 24 hrs. before she goes into stage 2 labor. Some of the other signs of impending labor are: nesting, refusal to eat, and loss of mucus plug. The pup would not have cryed as it has yet to take it's first breath. Good luck with your whelping!
