I guess it goes to show that the Yorkie wt. charts are only a starting estimate. Gain a little, lose a little. When my human kids go through a growth spurt, it doesn't necessarily mean that they gained weight to. My kids, especially my youngest seems to fluctuate a lot. I would think the same could hold true for pups. I am not a vet though, and at least your vet states the pup is healthy.
