I am the happy people mother of a 2 1/2 year old yerk that I rescued last Oct. on my birthday to be exact. I have never had a yorkie before or should he has me. My husband has had them in the past. Well, my concern is that my baby won't have anything much to do with him. He will not go out for him won't eat his food if my husband feeds him won't come when he calls....etc. I call this little guy my velcro puppy. Toto is my constant companion whether I like it or not. The dog groomer I take him to for trimming says he waits on the chair in the window until I return watching evey one that passes just in case it's me. I am use to having larger dogs that are more family friendly. Is this usual for Yorkies ? Also I find that his coat gets what I call greasy looking. Is there something I can put on his coat when I groom him.
