 Another Question about Registering
This may get confusing. A friend of mine wants to get a puppy who is ACA registered. The Sire and the Dam are ACA registered but everyone in their lineage is AKC registered. The breeder is not forthcoming about registering the Sire and Dam with AKC even though she (the breeder) claims they can be. She is delegating the responsibility to my friend. My question is can she (my friend) initiate the parents of the pup's registration to AKC so that she can get the puppy AKC or is the breeder the only one to initiate the registration on all sides (Sire, Dam and Puppy)? |
