Thanks to both of you. At least I know that this has happened to others. The picture looks similar to Julie's, although hers doesn't look like patches, it's very uniform all along the front of her back legs and seems to go a little bit up along her sides. Nothing on her tail though. What exactly is scudding? I am not familiar with that.
