Cooper & Carley wear collars 24/7. It has a tag on there with their names and our phone #'s. Although they are microchipped, I feel much better that they have visual identification at all times. We don't use the collars for leashes, they wear vest harnesses when we walk them...but I feel more secure with that visual ID. We have never had a problem with the collars getting caught on anything either. They are never outside by themselves, but I have a real paranoia of them getting off by themselves somehow. Just keep in mind...WWFMMNNWFY!! (What works for me may not necessarily work for you)
